RUPAC : TERMS OF PARTICIPATION AND LIABILITY WAIVER

1. Nature of the Mission
RUPAC (Registration in process as RUPAC India Charitable Trust) is currently a voluntary, non-commercial mission and not a professional production or event agency. All participants—including Attendees, Host Patrons, and Performing Artistes—acknowledge that our gatherings are community-driven efforts. By participating, you accept the organic imperfections inherent in such voluntary work and agree to prioritise the spirit of cultural preservation over technical or logistical perfection.

2. Conduct & Decorum
To maintain the sanctity of the arts and the dignity of our hosts, we reserve the absolute right to refuse entry or request the departure of any individual whose conduct is deemed inconsistent with our values. This includes unprofessionalism, unreasonable demands, or any behavior that disrupts the peace of a private residence, academic institution, or any shared event space.

3. Total Waiver of Liability
Participation in any RUPAC-sanctioned activity—whether at a Private Residence (Baithak), Academic Institution (AIC), or Public Space—constitutes a total waiver of claims against the organisers and the Host Patrons.

• Personal Risk: No liability is assumed for personal injury, medical emergencies, or health incidents at any venue.
• Property Risk: Organisers and Hosts are not liable for the theft, loss, or damage of personal belongings, including musical instruments.
• Venue Safety: Participants acknowledge that private homes and non-commercial spaces may not have commercial-grade safety infrastructure and participate at their own risk.

4. Artistic & Technical Force Majeure
The organisers are not liable for disruptions beyond their reasonable control, including artist cancellations, power outages, internet drops during live-streaming, or extreme weather.

5. Archival Rights & Intellectual Property
Full-length master recordings are the exclusive intellectual property of RUPAC India. Unauthorized private recording is strictly prohibited. Participation constitutes a waiver of likeness rights for the RUPAC Digital Archive and social media.

6. Finality of Decision
Decisions regarding artist selection and on-site management rest solely with the RUPAC leadership. In any dispute, our decision shall be final and binding.

Participation in any RUPAC sanctioned activity constitutes a full and final release of liability. Under no circumstances shall RUPAC, its patrons, associates, representatives or volunteers be subject to any legal action whatsoever arising from any and all participants’ voluntary presence.
